JitBit AI is a Google Chrome extension designed to simplify routine tasks when working with tickets in the JitBit helpdesk system. Its main features include one-button translation of a ticket written by a user in any language into English and translation of a response into the user's language with ready-to-send formatting. The application uses the Deepl Pro API with a corporate key to ensure that sensitive customer data is not sent to third-party public translation services.

Text Translations
JitBit AI uses the Deepl Pro API with a company key to perform translations. This prevents sensitive customer information from being sent to public translation services. We only transmit the texts that users wish to have translated to DeepL and do not use these data for any other purpose.

Third party involvement
In the process of using JitBit AI, data may be transmitted to the JitBit helpdesk system for extraction and processing of ticket text and to the DeepL service for text translation. We carefully select our partners and require them to adhere to high standards of data protection and privacy.

Our extension, JitBit AI, does not store users' personal data on any servers. Data processed as part of the extension's functionality, including texts submitted for translation, are temporarily stored in the browser's cache. This ensures that the data remains accessible during the browsing session and is retained even after the page is refreshed. However, data are automatically deleted in the following scenarios:

• After clearing the browser's cache.
• Once the translation window is closed.
• After refreshing or reinstalling the extension.

This approach is adopted to maintain a high level of privacy and security for user data, minimizing the risk of unauthorized access or data persistence beyond the intended usage period.
